Course on Social Entrepreneurship and the Market

Learn about engaging the market to pursue development objectives! 

 

With the economic downturn, it becomes more crucial for leaders and managers of enterprises and entrepreneurship programs with a social mission to learn how to effectively navigate in the market arena and generate greater impact for poor and marginalized stakeholders.

 

The Institute of Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA), in cooperation with the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG), invites directors, managers and senior staff of social enterprises or social entrepreneurship/ enterprise development programs of NGOs and government agencies to a five-day course on “Social Entrepreneurship and the Market” which will help participants appreciate:

  • social entrepreneurship as a framework for market engagement,
  • tools for designing enterprises and economic development interventions that benefit marginalized sectors,
  • the what’s and how’s of social enterprise marketing management, and
  • social marketing as a tool for changing behavior of target groups.
