ISEA Job Openings for Program Manager and Program Officer

ISEA is in need of a Program Manager and a Program Officer to work with us in the planning, development and implementation of our various projects and initiatives. 

 

The Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA) is a consortium of social enterprises, networks and resource institutions promoting social entrepreneurship in the Philippines and the Asian region.  It undertakes knowledge  creation/dissemination (research and publications) , capacity development (training, education and learning exchange) and platform building (engaging civil society, government and business for policy and program support)  towards a vibrant social enterprise sector as a key player in addressing poverty, inequality and sustainable development in the Philippines and the Asian region. 

 

ISEA Program Manager Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise day-to-day operations of ISEA, including the work of the Administrative/Finance Assistant and Accountant (on retainer)
  2. Assist the President/Executive Director in the planning and implementation of projects including coordinating the work of project staff and consultants
  3. Assist the President/Executive Director in setting up management systems to improve operations
  4. Assist the President/Executive Director in developing new programs and projects, and mobilizing resources to pursue their implementation
  5. Assist the President/ Executive Director in managing/coordinating the ISEA network and building partnerships with other organizations
  6. Coordinate the development, maintenance and updating of ISEA’s web resources
  7. Perform other functions as may be agreed upon. 

 

Qualifications:  College or masters degree; at least 5 years of relevant work experience including 3 years in a managerial position preferably in a development agency/organization/network  or social enterprise; proficient in written and oral communication


ISEA Program Officer Functions  and Responsibilities:


Work with the ISEA President/Executive Director/Program Manager  in


1.       the planning and implementation of ISEA programs, projects and priority activities.
2.       the development of new programs or projects, and networking activities.
3.       the preparation, conduct and documentation of ISEA organizational meetings including general assemblies and board meetings.
4.       updating the content of ISEA’s web resources (e.g. website and facebook accounts)
5.       performing other functions as may be mutually agreed upon.

 

Qualifications:  College degree; at least 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in a development agency/organization or social enterprise; proficient in written and oral communication.
